Double Chin (Submental Fullness)
Submental pre-platysmal adipose accumulation and cervical skin laxity obliterating the sharp cervicomental angle.
Submental fullness ("double chin") is a complex aesthetic concern caused by pre-platysmal adipose deposition, genetic bone structure (retrognathia), and gradual laxity of the platysma muscle and cervical skin.
Loss of the Cervicomental Angle
A defined youthful neck displays an acute cervicomental angle between 90° and 105°. Submental fat blurs this transition, making the jawline disappear into the neck.
Definitive Non-Surgical Contouring
We permanently eliminate submental fat and contract the overlying envelope via subdermal laser lipolysis (Endolift), micro-targeted injection lipolysis (sodium deoxycholate), or focused ultrasound (HIFU).
